Terms · Privacy · Refunds

The conditions,
in plain language.

These terms govern every subscription sold on this site. They are written to be read, not to be skipped: the parts that limit what you get, and the parts that protect you, are in the same plain sentences.

We are not a bank, an investment firm, a fund manager or a regulated financial intermediary, and we do not hold client money or assets at any time.

We publish the positioning of systematic models we run for ourselves. Two subscriptions are available:

APA ETF SignalsA target portfolio of four US-listed ETFs, equally weighted, reviewed on a fixed schedule of roughly one review a month. Delivered through a private Telegram channel.
Portfolio AccessDaily positioning across four strategies — US equity, European equity, global macro and FX — with entry levels and stops. Delivered through a separate private Telegram channel.

The cost assumptions, historical results and known limitations of APA ETF Signals are published at apa-quant.com/etf-signals.html. The selection rules, their settings and the composition of the universe are proprietary and are not disclosed.

Every subscriber receives exactly the same content at the same time. We do not know what you hold, what your objectives are or what risk you can bear, and the content is not adjusted for any subscriber.

This is not investment advice. Nothing published in the channels, on this site or in any communication from us is a personal recommendation, a solicitation, or an offer to buy or sell any financial instrument. We do not assess suitability or appropriateness for you, because we cannot: we hold none of the information that such an assessment requires.

You decide. Every decision to act, not to act, how much to commit and through which broker is yours alone, taken on your own responsibility. If you are unsure whether an investment is suitable for you, consult a professional authorised to advise you.

You can lose money. The instruments referenced can fall as well as rise. Past performance and backtested results are not a guide to future results, and backtested results in particular are produced with hindsight over a chosen period. We make no forecast and no promise of any return.

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each paid period until you cancel. Prices are shown on the Access section of this site and are the prices that apply at the moment you subscribe.

Payment is handled by Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd. We never see or store your card details. If a renewal payment fails, access continues for a short grace period and is then withdrawn.

Where VAT applies to your country of residence it is calculated and shown at checkout. You will receive a receipt from Stripe for every payment.

We may change prices for future periods. Existing subscribers keep the price they signed up at until they cancel, and we give notice before any change takes effect.

If you are a consumer in the European Union, you have 14 days to change your mind, and we honour that right in full.

You may withdraw from your subscription within 14 days of the day you subscribed, for any reason, without giving one. We will refund the full amount of the current period, including in cases where you have already received signals during those 14 days. We do not ask you to waive this right at checkout.

To withdraw, simply email apaquant@proton.me with the address you used to subscribe. A single sentence is enough; there is no form to complete. We will confirm and process the refund to your original payment method, normally within a few working days.

You can cancel at any time, from the link in any Stripe receipt or by emailing us. Cancellation stops the next renewal; access continues until the end of the period you have already paid for, and is then withdrawn from the channel.

After the 14-day withdrawal window we do not, as a rule, refund part-used periods — the service has been delivered. We will, however, refund in full where we have failed to deliver: prolonged interruption, or a period in which no update was published when one was due. If you think that applies to you, write to us and say so.

We may end a subscription ourselves, with a pro-rata refund of the unused period, if the terms in section 8 are broken.

Access is delivered through a private Telegram channel. You need a Telegram account to receive it. After payment you will be given a single-use invitation link valid for 24 hours; if it expires before you use it, write to us and we will issue another.

Quiet periods are normal. APA ETF Signals reviews its portfolio approximately once a month; between reviews there is nothing to publish and nothing is sent. Silence is not a failure of the service.

We depend on Telegram, on Stripe and on market data providers, none of which we control. We aim to publish reliably and to tell you if something breaks, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability. If Telegram becomes unavailable to us, we will contact subscribers at the email address used at checkout.

Your subscription is personal and non-transferable. One subscription corresponds to one Telegram account; our system will not deliver the same subscription to a second account.

Please do not forward, republish, resell or systematically redistribute the content of the channels, or use it to operate a competing service. Everything we publish — the methodology, the parameters, the historical results and the signals themselves — remains our intellectual property; your subscription gives you a personal licence to read and act on it, nothing more.

You may of course discuss what you do with your own money with anyone you like.

We take responsibility for delivering the service we describe, and nothing we write here limits our liability for fraud, for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited — including your statutory rights as a consumer, which these terms do not affect.

Beyond that: because we do not know your circumstances and do not advise you, we are not liable for trading losses, for decisions you take on the basis of what we publish, or for differences between our model's assumptions and the prices you actually obtain. Our total liability in any other respect is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.

Who else processes it

  • Stripe — payments, invoicing and subscription management.
  • Telegram — delivery of the signals. Telegram sees your account as a member of the channel.
  • GitHub — hosting of this site. Its servers log requests, including IP addresses, as any web server does.
  • Google Fonts — this site loads typefaces from Google's servers, which means your IP address is transmitted to Google when the page loads.

Some of these transfer data outside the EU. They do so under the safeguards their own privacy policies describe, which we encourage you to read.

How long, and your rights

Subscription records are kept while your subscription is active and for 24 months afterwards, so that we can answer questions about past access. Payment and invoice records are kept for 10 years, as Italian tax law requires.

You may ask us for a copy of your data, to correct it, to delete it, to restrict or object to its processing, or to receive it in a portable form. Write to apaquant@proton.me and we will respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied, you may complain to the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (garanteprivacy.it) or to the authority in your own country.

Cookies

This site sets no cookies and runs no analytics or advertising trackers. Stripe's checkout pages, which are hosted by Stripe, use cookies necessary to process your payment and to prevent fraud.

These terms are governed by Italian law. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory rules of the country where you live, and you may bring proceedings in the courts of that country.

If something goes wrong, write to us first — most things are resolved in one email. If that fails, EU consumers may use the European Commission's online dispute resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

We may update these terms. Changes take effect for renewals and new subscriptions from the date published, and we will tell subscribers in the channel when we make a material change. The date below is the version in force.
